The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, originally opened in 1892 as the Union Gospel Tabernacle, built as a large indoor revival meeting space spearheaded by businessman Thomas Ryman after he was inspired by a revival preacher, Samuel Porter Jones.

It is famously known as the home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 to 1974, which helped establish it as the "Mother Church of Country Music." The auditorium hosted legendary performers and has been preserved with significant restorations since the 1990s, maintaining its original wooden pews and floors, while adding modern amenities and expanded facilities.
