Stadium
SeatGeek Stadium, located in Bridgeview, Illinois, about 12 miles southwest of downtown Chicago, is a soccer-specific stadium that opened in 2006 originally as Toyota Park.
It was built to provide a dedicated home for the Chicago Fire, an MLS team, and has a seating capacity of 20,000. The stadium features a brick façade, executive suites, banquet rooms, and a permanent stage for concerts, allowing flexible use for sports and entertainment events. In 2018, SeatGeek acquired the naming rights, also becoming the primary ticketing service, with plans to increase live programming including concerts and festivals.
The stadium hosts the Chicago Red Stars of the NWSL, Chicago Fire FC II of MLS Next Pro, the Chicago Hounds rugby team, and other sports events. While the Chicago Fire moved back to Soldier Field in downtown Chicago, the stadium remains active with other tenant teams and hosts a variety of sports and cultural events. Its design incorporates covered seating close to the field and modern amenities, making it an important sports and entertainment venue in the Chicago metro area.
