Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Pennsylvania, founded in 1932 by German immigrant Adolph Dupre who started with just 2.5 acres and a rope tow for skiers, has grown into the state's largest ski resort offering 33 slopes and trails, seven terrain parks, and a large snowtubing park.
The resort developed over decades with significant expansions, including the introduction of snowmaking technology and chairlifts pioneered by the Dupre family, who deeply influenced the ski industry with innovations like the Millennium Snowmaking Gun. In addition to winter sports, Seven Springs offers all-season activities such as mountain biking, hiking, canopy zipline tours, and a full-service spa.
