Target Field

Target Field, Minnesota, United States

Stadium

Target Field is a modern baseball stadium located in the historic warehouse district of downtown Minneapolis and has been the home of Major League Baseball's Minnesota Twins since its opening in 2010.

Named after the Minneapolis-based Target Corporation, it replaced the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome to bring outdoor baseball back to the city. The stadium is designed to provide excellent sightlines and fan experiences, featuring a façade made from native Kasota limestone and a canopy that covers much of the upper seating areas. It includes iconic features such as the 1,500-pound bronze glove sculpture at the entrance, statues of Twins legends, and a rooftop neon sign depicting the classic Twins logo with “Minnie & Paul” shaking hands, which lights up when a home run is hit.

Target Field sits along the Mississippi River and offers stunning views of the Minneapolis skyline. The stadium holds about 39,500 spectators and was the site of the 2014 Major League Baseball All-Star Game.
