Winery
Abeja Winery, located in the Walla Walla Valley of Washington, is set on a beautifully restored, historic farmstead in the foothills of the Blue Mountains.
Founded by Ken and Ginger Harrison in the late 1990s, the winery was born from the couple’s search for land ideal for cultivating world-class Cabernet Sauvignon. The property includes the Heather Hill Vineyard and Mill Creek Estate, where they grow a variety of grapes including Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Merlot. Abeja is known for producing highly acclaimed wines with a focus on sustainable vineyard practices, offering exclusive, limited-release estate and reserve wines primarily available to members.
The estate also houses The Inn at Abeja, which provides fine lodging accommodations in renovated farm cottages and a gourmet dining experience celebrating Pacific Northwest cuisine. The name Abeja, Spanish for "bee," reflects the founders' respect for nature and the environment, blending winemaking excellence with preservation of the area's rich heritage.
