Buffalo Bill Ranch State Historical Park Museum in Nebraska, known as Scout's Rest Ranch, was the home of William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody from 1886 to 1913.

The park preserves his restored Second Empire-style mansion, one of the largest homes in North Platte during the late 19th century, filled with period furnishings and extensive Buffalo Bill memorabilia.

The ranch encompassed 4,000 acres where Cody raised cattle and purebred stallions, and the large barn on the property housed hunting trophies and artifacts from his famous Wild West show.

Established as a state historical park in 1965 and now a National Historic Landmark, the museum offers insight into Buffalo Bill’s life as a Pony Express rider, Army scout, buffalo hunter, and showman. Visitors can tour the mansion, barn, and grounds to explore the legacy of this iconic figure of the American West.
