The upper lake caters to power boating, water skiing, jet skiing, sailing, and fishing for stocked largemouth bass, striped bass, trout, catfish, and bluegill, while the lower lake offers non-motorized activities like kayaking, canoeing, and swimming from mid-May to mid-September, complemented by hiking, biking trails, equestrian paths, picnicking for groups up to 600, playgrounds, and camping.
Open daily except Christmas from sunrise to sunset (admission ends one hour prior) with entrance fees, boat rentals, a bait shop, and restrooms, it provides scenic views and wildlife habitat near Santa Clarita off Interstate 5, blending recreation with vital water storage.
