Opened in 1946 as Tahoe Sky Harbor, it evolved through names like Fabulous Eddie's Stardust Club, Caesars Inn in 1969, and Harvey's Inn until 1985 when it became Lakeside under local ownership, serving as a locals' favorite for decades. It closed permanently on March 17, 2020, due to COVID-19 impacts, was sold to Barton Health in 2021 for a healthcare facility, and fully demolished by late 2022.
