Observation Deck
Reunion Tower, located in downtown Dallas, Texas, is a 561-foot tall observation tower completed in 1978 as part of an urban redevelopment project alongside the Hyatt Regency Dallas hotel.
Known locally as "The Ball" because of its distinctive geodesic dome at the top, the tower offers a three-story observation deck with 360-degree views of the city. The structure was designed by the architectural firm Welton Becket & Associates and features four concrete shafts with a central cylindrical core housing stairs and mechanical equipment.
It quickly became one of Dallas’s most recognizable landmarks, famous for its LED light displays that celebrate holidays and local events. Visitors reach the observation deck by a scenic 68-second elevator ride, experiencing panoramic views extending up to 32 miles on clear days. The tower is a major tourist attraction and an iconic symbol of Dallas's skyline.
