This peaceful spot excels for walleye, crappie, white bass, northern pike, perch, and bass fishing, boating with two ramps and docks, swimming, watersports like windsurfing, picnicking at four shelters with tables and grills, and top-tier birdwatching for species such as Say’s phoebes, ferruginous hawks, and indigo buntings.
Camping includes 60 Electric Plus sites with 30/50-amp hookups, 26 basic non-electric pads, showers, modern restrooms, drinking water, fish cleaning station, and vault toilets, all open year-round with a park entry permit and some reservable spots.
