Park
Greycourt State Park is a small 24‑acre public recreation area in Methuen, Massachusetts, built on the partially restored ruins of the late‑19th‑century Charles H. Tenney estate, once centered around a grand mansion called Grey Court or Tenney Castle.
The castle was largely destroyed by fire in 1978 and then mostly razed in 1985, leaving behind evocative stone foundations and walls that visitors can explore along with wooded walking trails and scenic hilltop views. The park is managed as a satellite of Lawrence Heritage State Park and hosts occasional community events such as fall festivals, while the surviving gatehouse of the estate serves as home to the Methuen Historical Society and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
