The Appalachian Trail traverses the summit, with popular hikes like the 3.1-mile round-trip Race Brook Trail from Guilder Pond through steep terrain, waterfalls, and meadows, supporting activities such as hiking for all levels, birdwatching, hunting, fishing, and wildlife viewing amid rich biodiversity including rare species.
