It features 12 first-come, first-served campsites in a loop for tents and RVs without hookups, equipped with picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets, drinking water from a hand pump, trash service, and a public-use log cabin, open May through October in a quiet, seldom-crowded setting. Visitors enjoy hiking trails, berry picking especially blueberries, fishing, birdwatching, wildlife viewing including Delta bison herds across the river, moose, porcupines, and beavers, plus biking, cross-country skiing, and exploring alpine plant life amid foothills rising to tundra.
