Park
East Fork State Park is a 4,870‑acre Ohio state park in Clermont County, about 20–25 miles southeast of Cincinnati, centered on the large William H. Harsha Lake along the East Fork of the Little Miami River.
The 2,100‑plus‑acre lake was created in 1978 by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers mainly for flood control, with additional roles in water‑supply storage and water‑quality management, and is now the focal point for recreation at the park. Visitors use the park for boating with unlimited horsepower using several launch ramps, fishing for species such as largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, catfish, white bass, and saugeye, and swimming at a designated beach area.
The park also offers extensive camping, hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, and mountain biking along a broad trail system, including the roughly 33‑mile “Steve Newman World‑Walker” perimeter trail, plus a nature center and picnic facilities, all set in rolling hills and river‑valley scenery.
