Established in 2004 as Pennsylvania's newest state park, it preserves rare Great Lakes ecosystems including black oak savannahs, sand barrens, forested wetlands, and Elk Creek—a world-class steelhead fishery—home to endangered plants and diverse wildlife. Visitors enjoy 5 miles of hiking trails offering stunning bluff-top vistas and beach access, birdwatching, fishing, and nature photography in this largely undeveloped coastal gem.
