It offers boating ramps, a full-service marina, swimming beach, excellent fishing, hunting in the adjacent 2,215-acre wildlife area for deer, turkey, pheasant, quail, and waterfowl, plus archery range, disc golf, hiking trails, playgrounds, volleyball, basketball, and horseshoes amid scenic bluffs and abundant birds like eagles and orioles.
Amenities include 28 full utility campsites with freeze-proof water/sewer, 90 water/electric sites, 36 electric-only, 240 primitive spots, nine cabins, showers, dump stations, fish cleaning areas, and shaded areas drawing outdoor enthusiasts for water sports and wildlife viewing.
