Park
Ole Bull State Park spans 132 acres in the Kettle Creek Valley of Potter County, Pennsylvania, within the Black Forest region surrounded by Susquehannock State Forest, located along PA Route 144 about 18 miles south of Galeton and 26 miles north of Renovo.
Named for Norwegian violinist Ole Bornemann Bull, who attempted an ill-fated 19th-century colony here, the park features dense woodlands, the meandering Kettle Creek, modern camping sites, picnic areas, and several miles of hiking trails serving as gateways to the extensive Susquehannock Trail System.
Open year-round from sunrise to sunset, it offers a serene escape for fishing, hunting, wildlife viewing, and exploring the mountainous wilderness habitat of northern Pennsylvania.
