Reservoir
Otter Creek Reservoir is a man‑made reservoir located in southeastern Piute County, Utah, about 12–15 miles northwest of the small town of Antimony and roughly three hours south of Salt Lake City. The reservoir covers about 3,120 acres at an elevation of around 6,370–6,400 feet, with a maximum depth of about 37 feet and a shoreline of roughly 17 miles. It lies in a high‑desert valley surrounded by the Parker and Monroe Mountains, with a sagebrush landscape and nearby wildlife such as deer, elk, antelope, and raptors. The reservoir is best known for excellent rainbow trout fishing, but it is also used for boating, swimming, camping, and day‑use recreation, and it serves as a popular access point for the extensive Paiute Trail System used by ATV and off‑highway‑vehicle riders.
