Opened in 1959 as the area's first campground post-dam construction and the oldest in the region, this year-round site between Chief White Crane and Lewis & Clark Recreation Areas offers 67 electrical campsites fitting RVs up to 75 feet, 2 camping cabins, swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, biking trails, disc golf, tennis/pickleball courts, basketball hoops, playgrounds, picnic shelters with kitchenettes, showers, and vault toilets.
Visitors enjoy easy access to Missouri River water sports, family reunions, and diverse recreation across the three parks amid grasslands and scattered trees.
