Opened in 1999, it offers scenic views of Massanutten Mountain and Shenandoah National Park, with more than 25 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding, plus river access for canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and swimming via a car-top boat launch.
Amenities include riverside picnic areas, primitive tent campsites, RV sites with water and electric, yurts, cabins, a visitor center, and modern restrooms, open daily from 8 a.m. to dusk and popular for family outings amid rolling hills and woodlands.
