Springfield Recreation Area in Bon Homme County, southeastern South Dakota, nestles along the shores of Lewis and Clark Lake on the Missouri River, just 1 mile east of Springfield off SD Highway 37 at 1412 Boat Basin Drive.

Transferred from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to state management in 2002, this year-round park offers 20 electrical campsites, two cabins sleeping four each, a boat ramp, fishing dock for walleye and more, picnic shelter, playground, dump station, showers, and flush toilets (seasonal; vault toilets open always).

Adjacent to a nine-hole golf course with a bike trail linking to town, it draws visitors for boating, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, birdwatching, and stunning river views.
