Ute Mountain Casino Hotel is Colorado's first tribal casino, owned by the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe and located near Towaoc, about 10 miles south of Cortez off Highways 491 and 160 in the scenic Four Corners region.
Opened as a bingo parlor in September 1992 with a full casino expansion and 90-room hotel added by 2004, it now spans a large gaming floor with around 700 slot machines, live blackjack tables, electronic craps and roulette, a sportsbook, and the area's largest bingo hall.
The property offers Southwestern hospitality with on-site dining at Kuchu's restaurant, a 24/7 travel center, Sleeping Ute RV Park, indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, and easy access to Mesa Verde National Park, celebrating over 30 years as a regional entertainment hub.
