Since then, Valleyfair has grown to include over 75 rides and attractions spread across 90 acres, including eight roller coasters and a water park called Soak City, which is included with admission.
The park was developed with a county fair theme, featuring staff dressed in early 20th-century style costumes. It became part of Cedar Fair, a company formed in 1983 that operates several amusement parks.
