Park
Brimley State Park spans about 100 acres along Whitefish Bay at the eastern end of Lake Superior in Superior Township, Chippewa County, Michigan, near Brimley and 11 miles southwest of Sault Ste. Marie.
Established in 1923 after the Village of Brimley donated initial land to the Michigan DNR—one of the Upper Peninsula's oldest state parks—it offers camping, overnight lodging, a boat launch, sandy swimming beach known for warm waters, picnic areas with shelter, and an observation platform for viewing freighters and Canada across the bay.
Visitors enjoy fishing in nearby bays and trout streams, hiking and skiing trails, playgrounds, and proximity to Hiawatha National Forest, Soo Locks, and Tahquamenon Falls, with grassy sites ideal for families year-round.
