Park
Cape Sebastian State Scenic Corridor is a coastal state park in Curry County, southern Oregon, USA, located between Pistol River and Gold Beach along U.S. Route 101 at an elevation of about 740 feet, offering dramatic Pacific Ocean vistas.
Named after Saint Sebastian by Spanish explorer Sebastian Vizcaino in 1603, it features two parking areas over 200 feet above sea level with panoramic views up to 43 miles north to Humbug Mountain and nearly 50 miles south toward Crescent City, California.
A Sitka spruce forest covers the area, where visitors enjoy a moderate 3.3-mile Cape Sebastian Trail descending to lower cape levels for whale watching during gray whale migrations, hiking, tidepooling, and wildlife observation.
