Leased from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, it features forested hills with limestone outcrops, diverse hardwood forests home to hawks, owls, bald eagles, and rare Cerulean Warblers, plus 12 miles of trails for hiking through varied habitats. Recreation includes boating and fishing at the on-site marina with restaurant, 60 wooden-platform RV and tent campsites with hookups, rental cabins, swimming, picnicking shelters, an amphitheater, and conference center.
