It offers family-friendly swimming at a beach, boat launch for canoes and kayaks, picnicking, fishing, and access to over 17 miles of hiking trails plus 20 miles of multi-use paths for biking and horseback riding connecting to nearby Boulder Beach and Big Deer State Parks.
Open from Memorial Day to Columbus Day with flush toilets, hot showers, and proximity to the Groton Nature Center, it provides a peaceful North Woods retreat amid maples, beeches, hemlocks, and abundant wildlife.
