It features paved parking, picnic tables in wooded and meadow areas overlooking the ocean, restrooms, and a short paved trail descending through the forest to the shore, where visitors enjoy beachcombing for agates, fishing, occasional seal and sea lion sightings, surfing, and views of Cascade Head on the horizon.
Purchased from private landowners in 1966-1967 and managed by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, the site provides a serene spot for walks, wildlife watching, and relaxation amid dramatic coastal scenery, with paths along bluffs for panoramic Pacific vistas.
