This National Register of Historic Places landmark once served a thriving mill town with a grist mill powered by an 18-foot water wheel, wool machines, and later hydroelectricity, supporting local farmers until operations ceased around 1904. The picturesque park offers hiking and equestrian trails through forests to the river's edge, 21 RV/tent campsites, 11 equestrian sites with stables, three log cabin bunkhouses, picnic areas, and fishing, preserving a serene link to 19th-century rural life.
