Housed in a renovated 1922 Pueblo Revival-style former federal building since 1992, it originated from the Institute of American Indian Arts' student honors collection in 1972, evolving through expansions in 2005 and 2010 to offer dynamic galleries, educational programs, and cross-cultural dialogue amid Santa Fe's art scene.
