It offers year-round recreation including swimming beaches, multiple boat ramps, a marina with tackle shop, fishing for record-sized crappie, bass, catfish, and sand bass, plus hiking, mountain biking, equestrian trails, an 18-hole disc golf course at Hummingbird Beach, RV/tent campsites, three yurts, picnic areas, and the Deep Fork Nature Center.
Adjacent to the physically separate Arrowhead Area, it draws millions of visitors annually for boating, water sports, hunting, golfing, and family activities amid diverse shoreline from sandy beaches to rocky bluffs.
