Managed by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department since acquiring the land from Publisher's Paper Company in 1970, it features paved parking, picnic tables nestled in shore pine groves for wind protection, restrooms, and a short trail through coastal vegetation to the wide beach ideal for fishing, beachcombing, relaxation, and dog walking.
Offshore highlights include the Twin Rocks sea stacks visible to the south near Twin Rocks community, while the Oregon Coast Trail passes through, providing serene views of Neahkahnie Mountain to the north and opportunities for long strolls amid dunes and ocean waves.
