Old Wade House, also known as Wade House Historic Site, is a 240-acre open-air museum in Greenbush, Wisconsin, operated by the Wisconsin Historical Society rather than as a traditional state park.
Centered on the 1849 Greek Revival-style Sylvanus Wade House—once the premier stagecoach inn on the Sheboygan-Fond du Lac plank road—it preserves nine key structures including the Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum with over 70 horse-drawn vehicles, a reconstructed 1847 sawmill, blacksmith shop, and period buildings, all staffed by interpreters in 19th-century attire during summer operations.
Restored by the Kohler Foundation in the 1950s and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it offers wagon rides, demonstrations, and exhibits evoking mid-1800s travel and settlement life.
