South Beach State Park is a 498-acre coastal park in Newport, Lincoln County, Oregon, USA, located next to the Yaquina Bay Bridge and just south of the South Jetty, offering miles of broad sandy beach, paved trails like the Jetty Trail for walking, biking, and jogging, and easy access to the ocean for surfing, fishing, crabbing, clamming, and beachcombing.
Managed by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department since land acquisitions between 1933 and 1970 through gifts, exchanges, and purchases, it provides year-round camping with 227 electrical sites, 60 tent sites, 27 yurts, group camps, hiker/biker areas, showers, an RV dump station, playground, horseshoe pits, disc golf, and an equestrian trail to the beach.
