Park
Spring Valley State Park is a 927‑acre Nevada park in Lincoln County, about 20 miles east of the town of Pioche and near the small village of Ursine, built around the 65‑acre Eagle Valley Reservoir.
Created in 1969 after the reservoir was formed by a dam on Meadow Valley Wash in 1965, the park sits at roughly 5,800 feet elevation in a high desert valley fringed by striking volcanic tuff cliffs in light gray, pink, and white tones. Visitors come for camping, fishing, and boating on the reservoir, plus picnicking, short hikes, and exploring historic ranch buildings that now serve as a small museum, all in a quiet, scenic setting between mountain ranges close to the Utah border.
