Park
Tseriadun State Recreation Site, also known as Agate Beach, is a day-use beach access park in Port Orford, northern Curry County, Oregon, USA, offering a mile-long stretch of pebbled sand and gravel shoreline north of Port Orford Heads between Garrison Lake and the Pacific Ocean.
Managed by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department since its 2003 purchase, it features a short gravel-and-sand trail from free parking to the beach, picnic tables under trees, restrooms, and views of offshore rocks, sea stacks, driftwood, wildflowers, and distant headlands toward Paradise Point and Cape Blanco.
Popular for low-crowd agate hunting—especially after winter storms—along with beachcombing, surf perch fishing, tidepooling, hiking, nature viewing, and trout fishing in nearby Garrison Lake, it includes a 2007 culvert upgrade to curb erosion and flooding while preserving Native American cultural sites.
