Tumalo State Park is a year-round state park in Deschutes County, central Oregon, USA, located about 4 miles northwest of Bend along the Deschutes River amid ponderosa pines, junipers, and alders.
It offers shaded picnic areas, a popular wading and swimming spot on the river, excellent trout fishing especially in spring and late summer, a playground, and access to a 2.4-mile segment of the Deschutes River Trail for hiking and birdwatching with no bikes or dogs allowed in parts.
The campground provides 54 tent sites, 23 full-hookup RV sites, 7 yurts, showers, flush toilets, and a hiker/biker camp, serving as a peaceful base for exploring nearby trails, golf courses, and Cascade Mountains attractions.
