Park
Cattail Cove State Park spans 2,000 acres along the eastern shore of Lake Havasu in southern Mohave County, Arizona, about 19 miles south of Lake Havasu City and 8 miles north of Parker Strip on State Route 95.
Operated by Arizona State Parks since 1970, it features two white-sand beaches, a boat ramp and rentals for watersports like boating, kayaking, fishing for bass, catfish, crappie, and bluegill, plus 61 campsites including RV sites with hookups, boat-in shoreline camping, shaded picnic areas, showers, flush toilets, a ranger station gift shop, volleyball court, and dog beach.
Trails such as the moderate 4.2-mile Ripley's Run and Ted's Trail wind through desert canyons past waterfalls to lake views, supporting wildlife viewing of hummingbirds, ducks, hawks, egrets, deer, bighorn sheep, coyotes, and reptiles amid cattail marshes.
