This tree-shaded oasis serves as a gateway to the Lower Deschutes Wildlife Area with camping options including electrical sites, primitive spots, group areas, cabins, hot showers, flush toilets, and an RV dump, plus picnic areas and river access for world-class steelhead and trout fishing.
Visitors enjoy 6 miles of hiking-only trails like the scenic Ferry Springs loop, a 26-mile mountain biking stretch on the flat Deschutes River Trail, equestrian paths seasonally, whitewater rafting through rapids like Rattlesnake and Moody, hunting for pheasant and chukar, and wildlife viewing amid high-desert canyons.
