Park
Entry Cove State Marine Park spans 1,200 acres at the northeast corner where Passage Canal meets Port Wells, two miles east of Decision Point in Prince William Sound near Whittier, Alaska, with no road access amid forested lowlands, muskegs, low rocky cliffs, and gravel pocket beaches.
It offers primitive tent camping for up to 10 sites on flat beach rock and moss at the cove head—avoiding contaminated pond water—plus kayaking, clamming in the lagoon at full tide for small boats, and wildlife viewing in estuaries, eelgrass beds, and salmon spawning areas, highlighted by a natural arch on the east shore and views of Tebenkof Glacier.
