Fort Simcoe Historical State Park is a 200-acre day-use heritage site on the Yakama Indian Reservation in Yakima County, Washington, USA, located eight miles west of White Swan near the Cascade foothills.
Built in 1856 by U.S. Army Colonel George Wright under Major Robert S. Garnett as a refuge for settlers during conflicts with Yakama tribes, the pre-Civil War fort operated until 1859, later serving as an Indian agency and boarding school until 1922. It features restored original buildings like the commandant's house and blockhouse, an interpretive center on military and Native American history, picnic areas, and hiking trails amid oak groves and springs, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
