It features 50 modern RV campsites with full hookups along the lakeshore, cabins, cottages, over five miles of hiking and equestrian trails including the award-winning 5.6-mile Opossum Trail for birdwatching and nature study, an 18-hole disc golf course, gymnasium, tennis courts, playing fields, picnic pavilions, playgrounds, and a swimming area.
Managed by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks, the park blends water recreation with forested trails and sports facilities for family outings and groups.
