Facilities are still relatively basic, with a primitive campground, vault toilets, and a concrete boat ramp, while the area is being gradually developed with modern campgrounds, restrooms, and trailheads planned for the future.
The park sits in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains, offering open views, wildlife watching, and easy access to nearby towns like Morgan and Henefer, making it a peaceful, low‑traffic destination for paddlers and anglers.
