Porcupine Creek State Recreation Site is a small, wooded 240-acre campground in Alaska's Interior near Slana and Tok, located at milepost 64 of the Tok Cutoff Highway close to the Nabesna Road intersection and within Wrangell-St. Elias National Park boundaries.
Managed by Alaska State Parks, it provides 12 first-come, first-served sites suitable for tents and RVs without hookups, featuring picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets, drinking water, and direct creek access for a primitive, peaceful wilderness experience open May through September.
Visitors enjoy fishing Arctic grayling in the creek, hiking nearby hills and trails amid spruce forests, picnicking, berry picking, and using it as a base for exploring the vast national park's glaciers, mountains, and historic sites.
