It centers on the 1,500-acre Quartz Lake and adjacent Lost Lake, offering 103 campsites across two areas for tents and RVs without hookups, plus picnic shelters, vault toilets, drinking water, two boat launches, a handicap-accessible fishing dock, swimming beach, volleyball court, and hiking trails like the 1.8-mile Quartz Lake Loop, three-mile Bluff Point Trail, and rugged 1.7-mile Bert Mountain Trail with Alaska Range views.
Year-round activities include stocked trout and salmon fishing, boating, water skiing, wildlife viewing, picnicking, winter ice fishing, snowmachining, dog mushing, and skijoring amid spruce forests and scenic valleys.
