Roger Wheeler State Beach in Rhode Island, also known locally as Sand Hill Cove, is a 27-acre public beach on Block Island Sound in the town of Narragansett.

It features fine white sand and calm waters protected by a breakwater, making it popular for families with young children. Facilities include a modern pavilion with food concessions, restrooms, outdoor showers, a playground, picnic tables, and a lifeguard tower with seasonal coverage.

The beach offers a very gradual drop-off and gentle surf, ideal for safe swimming. Visitors often enjoy picnicking, playing in the sand, and the environmental education area for kids. Named in 1970 after Captain Roger W.
