William M. Tugman State Park is a serene 560-acre coastal retreat straddling Coos and Douglas counties in Oregon, USA, situated on the shores of Eel Lake about 8 miles south of Reedsport along U.S. Route 101 near Lakeside.
Named for journalist William M. Tugman, it provides 94 campsites with electric/water hookups, 16 yurts, a day-use area with reservable gazebo shelter, grassy lawns, restrooms, hot showers, a boat ramp, fishing pier, swimming beach, and a large pet exercise zone amid shore pines, spruce, cedar, fir, and alder forests.
Visitors relish boating, canoeing, sailing, fishing, hiking trails around the lake's inlets for spotting osprey, eagles, cranes, and deer, plus proximity to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area for added exploration.
