Undeveloped and contrasting wild surf at Fort George Inlet with calm tidal pools, it offers shelling, surfing, swimming, fishing, canoeing or kayaking on Myrtle Creek, hiking and biking over seven miles of trails including the 4-mile Dune Ridge Trail and ADA-accessible boardwalks, birdwatching along the Great Florida Birding Trail, and camping at 51 sites with full hookups. Open daily from 8 a.m. to sunset with a $5 vehicle entry fee, it provides bathhouses, picnic areas, a boat ramp, and kayak rentals nearby.
