Park
Beaver Brook Reservation is a 303-acre public recreation area straddling Belmont and Waltham in Massachusetts, established in 1893 as the first park in the Metropolitan Park System to protect the historic Waverly Oaks. Divided by Trapelo Road into a northern section with wooded trails around ponds, a cascading waterfall, wetlands, the Robert Morris Copeland House headquarters, and fishing spots, and a southern developed area with athletic fields, tennis courts, playground, spray park, picnic tables, and restrooms. Managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation, it offers biking paths, wildlife programs, cultural history exhibits, and connects to nearby conservation lands for walking and nature exploration.
