Park
Hopkinton State Park is a 1,500‑acre state park straddling the towns of Hopkinton and Ashland in eastern Massachusetts, centered on the Hopkinton Reservoir and managed by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation.
It offers two lifeguard‑staffed seasonal swimming beaches, a large bathing pond separated from the reservoir, and non‑motorized boating such as sailing, canoeing, and kayaking on the reservoir itself, along with fishing in stocked waters.
The park features more than 10 miles of multi‑use trails for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and cross‑country skiing, as well as numerous shaded picnic areas and grassy fields, making it one of the most‑visited state parks in the region for families and outdoor enthusiasts.
